Sancton Road in Market Weighton has now reopened following an earlier crash.
Police were called to the scene just after 7am this morning (Tuesday) after a car crashed on the A1034 close to Market Weighton.
The road was closed due to the vehicle, a silver Peugeot 206, blocking the lanes.
A woman, believed to be in her 20s, has been taken by ambulance to Hull Royal Infirmary. She was the only person in the car.
The road was reopened after the car was removed from the scene just after 8.30am.
