Horse rescued from River Aire

FIRE crews rescued a horse that fell into the River Aire at 10am today.
Humber Coastguard and Humber Rescue were called in to make sure everyone working in the water stayed safe.
It had been feared a rider may also be in the stretch of water, which is close to Boothferry Bridge, but it was a riderless horse that had been grazing.
