A man has been jailed for punching a nurse in the face.
Leslie James Dawkins, 52, was drunk when he assaulted Helen Thompson while she was working at Hull Royal Infirmary.
District Judge Frederick Rutherford, sitting at Hull Magistrates Court, said: "You assaulted a nurse in her employment, when she was there to help others."
Dawkins, of Dairycoates Avenue, west Hull, admitted the assault on January 26.
He was given a three-month prison sentence.
