BRANSHOLME: Three men have been charged in connection with a kidnap.
Humberside Police sent an armed response team following reports of the kidnap and someone brandishing a meat cleaver on Friday in the Rhyl Close area.
Trevor Rapley, 43, of Estcourt Street, Hull was charged with kidnap, and the possession of a Class B drug, with intent to supply.
Paul Tye, 45, of Rhyl Close, was charged with kidnap and threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place.
Steven Rawson, 42, of Nuneaton in Warwickshire, was charged with kidnap.
All three men appeared at Hull Magistrates' Court on Monday and were remanded in custody to appear at a later date.
A fourth man, 27, was released on police bail pending further inquiries.
