MORE than 500 people were evacuated from Hull Paragon Interchange this morning because of a faulty alarm.
The alarm went off at 10.16am - forcing commuters and buses to leave the station.
No trains were delayed and the station was reopened ten minutes later.
Station manager Dave Hatfield said: "We investigated the cause of the alarm going off and it was found to be faulty.
"There was no fire or gas leak.
"We evacuated the station immediately as it is better to be safe than sorry."
Services are now running normally.
