POLICE in Willerby are searching for a man who asked two boys to get into his van.
The boys claim they were approached by the man as they walked along Kingston Road on Sunday at around 1.30pm as they headed towards Willerby Square.
They told police they were approached by the man who was in a white Ford who began talking to the boys before asking if they wanted to get into his vehicle.
Both boys ran off and the man left the area in his van towards Hull.
He is described as white, stocky build, 5ft 9ins tall, aged late 30s, with a shaved head and stubble and wearing a black jacket with a black hooded top underneath and black jogging bottoms and trainers.
The attempted abduction follows a warning issued to parents by Stepney Primary School last week after three men tried to force a young boy into a van on Tuesday.
A letter was sent to the parents of all pupils at Beverly Road school describing the attempted snatch as "worrying".
The letter reveals the men told the boy to get in the
van but he ran away and told school staff, who reported it to the police.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Humberside Police on 101 referring or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
