IT'S not the kind of thing their fans would expect to see them doing – but when offered the chance to become models for an afternoon this week, three Hull KR players jumped at the chance.
With sports clothing range Raging Bull launching in the city centre's House of Fraser store, the call went out for volunteers.
Step forward Greg Eden, Adam Walker and Keal Carlile, who were more than keen to give the new gear a go.
But while it may have proved an afternoon which convinced Eden a move into modelling was not for him, according to the Rovers' full-back, should Adam Walker decide to turn his back on rugby, a potential new career awaits.
"Adam was head and shoulders above myself and Keal," Eden revealed after the session.
"I wasn't really aware of what we needed to be doing other than we were trying on a new range of clothes, but Adam had all the moves
"He had the poses, and he had a nice smile to go with it, he's a natural."
"We all enjoyed it and came away from it with some nice new clothes as well which was good," Eden added.
"It was fun to do and be part of promoting something new to the city."
Somewhat ironically, the photo-shoot for the Raging Bull range of T-shirts, polo shirts, casual shirts, rugby tops and hoodies was arranged and held just 24 hours after some real life raging Bulls had torn through Eden, Walker and Carlile in a 34-12 Super League defeat for the Robins at Odsal.
It naturally led Eden to recall that loss at Bradford, and the areas they will need to improve when facing Castleford Tigers at MS3 Craven Park on Sunday.
"The Bulls got some momentum behind them early on last week and we had too many individual errors that we couldn't recover from," he admitted.
"We have had to try and put things right in training this week, as we never really got on the front foot.
"I think our defence let us down too much, so we didn't really get much chance to come back on them in the attack.
"Personally, I have made a couple of errors this season, so I have had a few things to work on. But hopefully I can keep getting better as the season goes on and hit a peak.
"I like attacking, setting up tries and scoring, and I like to think that if I make an error or a poor decision, it doesn't really get to me and I just carry on and play with some confidence."
Photo-shoot over, Eden was keen to turn his focus back to his day job, and doing his best to help the Robins climb the Super League ladder.
He believes there are plenty of positives to take from a start to the season that has brought three wins from Rovers' opening seven games.
And he says to reach their full potential, KR's stars must be model professionals and accept the areas they need to improve upon, whilst building on their strengths.
"We have some good attack and we are gelling well with each other. If we keep attacking like we do we have every chance," he said.
"But we know we need to start working on our defence a bit because if we get that right we should be up there.
"I think there is potential for us to aim higher than seventh or eighth. We have scored the most points of all the teams in Super League so as soon as we balance our defence and attack out I think we can be up there."
