The world's first Micro Pop-Up Food Festival visited Beverley on Saturday.
The event, organised by 'The Demo Chef', Philip Leverington, offered an opportunity for local food producers to showcase their products.
They included Manor Farm Beef, which provided steaks for Mr Leverington's cooking demonstrations.
Mr Leverington said: "It's all about getting people to love their food again in light of what has happened recently with the horse meat scandal and making people realise that all these fantastic ingredients used here today are available right here on their doorstep.
"People get scared of cooking, but it's nothing to be afraid of."
The festival was held at Intoto Kitchens Design Studios in Hengate.
Intoto managing director John McBride said: "All the food here today is from local producers.
"We can provide the facilities to cook the fantastic products and it gives everyone a chance to meet those who supply the food and put a face to a name.
"It's been a really successful day."Beverley Micro Pop-Up Food Festival - Picture Gallery
