HULL City boss Steve Bruce felt his side deserved at least a point after creating a flurry of chances late on in their 2-1 home defeat by Nottingham Forest.
The Tigers went 1-0 up in first-half stoppage time when Jack Hobbs headed Robert Koren's corner back into the danger zone, aloowing George Boyd to flick the ball over his shoulder and into the net with his back to goal.
Forest responded immediately on 54 minutes as Darius Henderson fired home from 12 yards and Lewis McGugan was the hero after coming off the bench to net the winner with five minutes left.
City saw second-half chances come and go for Gedo, Boyd, Jay Simpson and David Meyler and Bruce was gutted not to earn a draw.
He said: "We've done enough to win two matches, that's the biggest disappointment.
"I couldn't fault the way we played or the way we've gone about it.
"To be fair to Forest they've gone for it and played three up front, but the attempts we've had off the line and the post - it's just one of those horrible ones where the luck goes against you. Unfortunately it wasn't our day."
