POLICE are warning residents to be vigilant after several sheds were broken into in west Hull this weekend.
More than £3,000 worth of fishing equipment was taken from a shed in a garden on West Grove. The offender climbed over a 6ft fence and forced the shed door.
Thieves also stole two bikes and a child's scooter from a shed in the rear garden of a house in Roslyn Road.
A BMX GP Interceptor in pale green, a BMX GP Tour in dark green with black dice dust caps and a Scooter Slamrage with an orange deck to stand on, two green wheels and a green brake with a purple fixing clamp underneath, were stolen.
The theft happened between 6pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday.
Anyone with information about either of the shed burglaries or with information about the whereabouts of the stolen property is asked to call Humberside Police on 101.
