Hull KR: No target date for Ryan O'Hara's return

HULL KR are refusing to set a target date for prop Ryan O'Hara to return to action, with coach Craig Sandercock saying he will be out 'indefinitely'.

O'Hara injured his Achilles in pre-season and missed the warm-weather training camp to Tenerife before Christmas.

Sandercock had hoped to be able to call on the 32-year-old prop before Easter, but with medical staff at the club unconvinced, that now looks unlikely.

O'Hara joins centre Sean Gleeson on the sidelines indefinitely, who continues to be troubled by a back injury and is yet to make his Rovers debut following his off-season move from Salford.

On a positive note, Sandercock should have winger Omari Caro back in a couple of weeks, having missed last week's 26-12 win over Warrington with a shoulder injury.

"He doesn't need surgery on his shoulder which is pleasing," Sandercock told the Mail.

"We are rehabilitating him and he'll be back in a couple of weeks."

Sandercock will be without both first choice hookers Josh Hodgson and Lincoln WIthers for Saturday's trip to London.

Hodgson sits the game out because of a one-match ban he received for a tackle late in the Warrington win, while Withers is still recovering from a broken toe.

Craig Hall has a chance of returning though after missing with an ankle injury last weekend.

"Lincoln doesn't look too good. He'll be a couple of weeks away, but there is no surgery needed there either," Sandercock said.

"We'll give Craig a fitness test later in the week. Hopefully he will be okay.

"There is a chance Craig could play and it's always pleasing when you get players back."
