HULL KR put last week's disappointing defeat at Salford behind them with a superb 26-12 win over Warrington Wolves at MS3 Craven Park.
Trailing 12-6 at the break, Rovers scored 20 unanswered points to keep the Wolves scoreless in the second half.
Rovers opened the scoring in the fifth minute through Dave Hodgson in the left hand corner but Michael Dobson missed the conversion. Dobson however, did add a penalty in the 17th minute to make it 6-0 before Warrington found a way into the game.
Stefan Ratchford used every inch of his frame to score from dummy half with Brett Hodgson adding the extras to make it 6-6. Tony Smith's side went into the break 12-6 in front when Ryan Atkins out jumped KR debutant Alex Brown to score in the 31st minute with Hodgson accurate again with the conversion.
Craig Sandercock was able to call on Travis Burns for the first time since his signing in the off-season and he played a bit part in Rovers turning the deficit into a win.
Cory Paterson got the important first try of the second half which Dobson converted for a 12-12 tie. Dobson's penalty four minutes later edged KR in front 14-12 with 18 minutes to play. Rovers defended tenaciously as Warrington grew impatient. With five minutes to go, Dave Hodgson scored his second and in the last minute, debutant Alex Brown scored to make it a memorable day for the winger.
