HE IS through to the semi-final of one of TV's biggest celebrity shows.
Now, the pressure is mounting as Luke Campbell enters the final stages of ITV's Dancing On Ice.
Last week, the Hull boxer found himself in the skate-off for the first time and was blown away when the judges chose him over Coronation Street beauty Samia Ghadie.
He is now in the final four and will battle it out on Sunday night after being told his last skate was his "best to date".
His fiancée Lynsey Kraanen has just returned from London, where Luke is rehearsing, and is hoping to return to the capital for the semi-final to support her childhood sweetheart.
She said: "I always knew he'd do well, despite his dancing ability.
"Anything after week five was a bonus, getting past halfway in the competition was just amazing but, to get this far, we never expected it.
"He's had so much support but it did leave a lump in my throat last week when he was put in the skate-off.
"We'd never had to deal with that before but I didn't think he was going to go."
Lynsey, who is hoping to get the time off work to support Luke once again, said she thought his performance during prop week was his "best ever".
She said: "It was brilliant and looked like so much fun, he did a fantastic job with the skipping rope.
"That's why I didn't expect him to be in the bottom two. I think he has what it takes to win.
"All of the others were already good at skating, Luke has come on week after week and really improved.
"He's showing off what he's learnt and he's come a long way.
"We've all loved watching the programme. It's given us something to look forward to on a Sunday night and it's entertaining."
Fans held their breath last week as he was placed in the skate-off and were surprised when all of the judges voted in his favour.
His fiancée said he was "overwhelmed by the support" from both the judges votes comments and the votes from Hull folk who want to see him do well.
Lynsey has even taken their two-year-old son Leo on to the ice but said he is a bit too young to be learning any tricks.
She said: "He had a little go but it's a bit dangerous and he fell over a few times.
"I was also pregnant with Lincoln when Luke first started the show, so I haven't been able to get any skates on.
"But Luke is doing really well, he always does when he puts his mind to something."
Although Luke has had lots of support throughout the competition, Lynsey said she doesn't want people to presume he has a guaranteed place in the final.
She said: "We need people to pick up the phone and vote for him – it would be amazing if he could win it.
"It will give him another boost and he will then be able to decide what he wants to do next.
"We are hoping to go back to London to see the semi-final and will be cheering him on."
