It's pantomime time again, oh yes it is!, and audiences at Hull New Theatre are in for a festive treat.
The nation's favourite comedy duo, the Chuckle Brothers lead this year's cast of Sleeping Beauty, which opens tonight (Thursday, December 6).Look out later this evening for the first-night review of Sleeping Beauty, which will be posted here on This is Hull and East Riding.
Reporter Lucy Leeson ventured behind the scenes earlier today and caught up with brothers Barry and Paul.
Barry said: "There will be lots and lots of laughs for the audience this year.
"That's what we always go for in pantomime.
"The setting and scenery is also beautiful and we can't wait to start performing."
The brothers, who play the court jesters, are regular visitors to Hull.
Paul said: "It's great to be back in Hull.
"We really enjoy coming back here because the audience are always great."
The popular pantomime promises comedy, romance and thrills, stunning sets and fabulous costumes.
Sleeping Beauty will run from Thursday, December 6, to Sunday, January 6, 2013 with both a matinee and evening show.
