A 52-year-old woman was punched by a motorist in front of her husband during an apparent road rage incident in Hornsea.
It happened between 8.30am and 9am on Sunday in Queens Gardens.
The couple had been driving in Hornsea when they were passed by a man in a blue Vauxhall Zafira.
The husband made a gesture to the Vauxhall driver who then followed the couple until they stopped outside an address in Queens Gardens.
A heated row began between the Vauxhall driver and the woman's husband.
When the woman stepped in, the Vauxhall driver punched her.
The woman fell to the ground and bumped her head. She was taken to hospital where she was also treated for bruises and grazes.
Witnesses are asked to call 101, referring to log 194 of February 24.
