DETECTIVES are hunting a boy who sexually assaulted a woman as she waited to cross the road.

Police say the boy grabbed the 23-year-old woman inappropriately at a crossing in Adelaide Street, west Hull.

They are treating the offence, which happened in December, as a sexual assault.

He is one of 12 people wanted for questioning by police featured in the latest edition of Caught on Camera, a partnership between the Mail and Humberside Police.

Detective Constable Justin Marrow, from the city's priority crime team, said: "The boy was behind the woman in a queue in a shop. She made a purchase, then he did, and he walked quickly behind her and followed her out.

"While she was waiting to cross the road, he held her by her shoulders, then grabbed her inappropriately.

"The image we have of him is quite clear, so we are hoping Mail readers will be able to identify him."

Police also want to identify three men after a taxi driver was racially abused and bottles thrown at his vehicle.

The three men were dropped off in Victor Street, east Hull, last month.

DC Marrow said: "The men were picked up by the driver and, on the journey, one of them was sick in the back of the taxi.

"When they arrived in Victor Street, the two men who were in the back of the taxi got out. The one who was left said he had only had £3 and couldn't pay the full fare of £9.

"The other two men then came back and were throwing bottles at the taxi and all three began shouting racial abuse at the driver.

"They then left without paying driver."

Two men who tried to break into a garage at a property in Hotham Road South, west Hull, earlier this month are also being hunted by detectives.

"There have been a number of shed and garage burglaries in this area, so we are really hoping to identify whoever is responsible," said DC Marrow.

Police also want to identify a man and woman who are suspected of stealing a wallet a customer had left in Sainsbury's in Hessle Road, west Hull.

A woman who caused £500 of damage to a car outside Lizard Lounge in South Church Side, city centre, is also wanted by police.

DC Marrow said: "The victim was working at the bar and his car was parked outside. The woman was seen to climb on to the bonnet and then the roof, and she sat on the roof of the car and had a cigarette."

A man who punched a man on the dancefloor of The Yorkshireman pub in Lombard Street, city centre, is also included in the images, as is a man who stole money from a taxi driver in Brisbane Street, west Hull.

Officers also want to identify a man who damaged a door in the laundry room of Cambridge Flats in Cambridge Street, west Hull.

DC Marrow said: "We have some clear images in this latest batch, so I hope they will be identified.

"I would ask Mail readers to take a look at these pictures and get in touch with us if they can identify any of the people we would like to speak to."
