A 15-YEAR-OLD Hull City fan has instructed solicitors to challenge West Yorkshire Police's restrictions for Tigers' fans wanted to travel to the match at Huddersfield.

The kick-off time of the match on March 30 has been changed to 5.20pm to allow Sky to broadcast it live.

West Yorkshire Police has limited tickets for Hull City fans to 1,500 and is making them travel on official coaches from the city to avoid trouble from all-day drinking.

Louis Cooper, who travels from Manchester to watch Hull City home and away, said: "The police have made it impossible for a lot of fans to go to the game.

"This will be the first away game I will miss this season. I have travelled to Beijing to watch Hull City and have done so without restrictions."

Lochlinn Parker, solicitor at Deighton Pierce Glynn who is taking on the case for Louis, said: "We believe the decision is unlawful and will be writing to the police shortly to ask them to drop the restrictions." "We hope that they will but if not then we will be left with no alternative but to make an application for judicial review of the decision."

As Louis Cooper is younger than 18 years old his grandmother, Sylvia Rothwell, will act as his litigation friend should court proceedings become necessary.
