Snow could return to Hull and East Yorkshire on Sunday.
The Met Office has issued a "yellow" alert, valid from 6am on Sunday to 10am on Monday.
Forecasters say a band of rain will turn to snow as it pushes into northern England.
They said up to 10cm could fall over higher ground in some places.
The current forecast suggests Hull will escape the worst of the weather - but may see some sleet and wet snow.
Ice is likely to be a hazard during the Monday morning rush hour, the Met Office added.Video: Snow on the Wolds earlier this week
